Some authors, because their work is timeless, engages the mind, mirrors your emotion etc. (I would put Tolkien, Stoker and Yeats here, definetly)

Some musicians because they are not mainstream but real artists, e.g. Loreena McKennitt, Angelo Branduardi..

Carl Gustav Jung...because he improved on Freud and saved us from the dubious fate of believing all our brain is capable of, is thinking about sex.

And that's it.
Just looking out of the window is interesting, even if that journey has been undertaken many times, there is always something new to see.

You ask what ever happened to curiosity and the wonder of actually learning something - well, some people just aren't interested in learning anything - they would rather complain about being bored. (ask me, I work in education..)

I don't have the dvds... What's happening in that one? Frankly I don't know why they don't put the series back onto one of the normal 5 channels! It was great. Especially the one with the liver eating man who could squeeze himself through all kinds of gaps... Instead of one of the soaps for instance. They managed to revive Dr Who! Maybe that should give us hope.

Have you ever watched "Sea of souls" on BBC? It's not on right now but I found it also quite good.

LOL. married men do get weak knees like the rest of human kind. Wouldn't it be great if with the wedding ceremony automatically the appreaciation of beauty was limited to the spouse's alone..no more problems..ever..or rather..what horrible thought is this!?

In response to:oh well tuesday 9th

my nephew went to London to see Soho ! thats what he told the child protections team inspector........
