I am writing this today feeling tired as per usual, work has become stressfull this week after a job that i am working on is rather complicated and involves a lot of child abuse.
i wish i could see the promise land like martin luther king (just heard his speech on TV).
a great man. hear is one fo yoou all out there who do you respect ?, respect is something one has to earn ad there are numerous people who i have never respected.
so people who i respect ... Winston Churchill
most of my coleagues at work.....
a freind of mine the author Peter James ( he's done something i am desperate to do, thats write a book )
George bush ... Simply because he appears to be stupid and a bumbling idiot but he still made US president....
I have no respect for those who voted for him though...
So what about you lot ?
I respect...Mahatma Ghandi and the 14th Dalai Lama for living what they believe in, keeping a peaceful mind in the face of adversity (or having lived, what they believe in,in Ghandi's case).
Some authors, because their work is timeless, engages the mind, mirrors your emotion etc. (I would put Tolkien, Stoker and Yeats here, definetly)
Some musicians because they are not mainstream but real artists, e.g. Loreena McKennitt, Angelo Branduardi..
Carl Gustav Jung...because he improved on Freud and saved us from the dubious fate of believing all our brain is capable of, is thinking about sex.
