I have been shopping today , just for books .......
I brought peter 'hamilitons , pandoras star' its Science fiction in case you havnt heard of it I am somewhat of a sci fi fan, and ive also bought the book 'The great wall China against the world ' by julia lovell, its a history of china from 1000BC to present.

anyhow i was on the train the other day and heard this couple talking and the bloke said 'I am Bored ' I looked up from reading my book and thought to myself why on earth dont you read a book then, you can never be bored with a decent book, but alas he looked at his watch and just continued to moan about how he could be at home on his play station, now i ask you this was a 30 something male ! , sometimes i wonder if there is any hope left for what we loosely describe as western civilisation if all a fit healthy male wants to do is play on his play station, what ever happened to curiosity and the wonder of actually learning something.

If i can afford it i am going to pay for some kid in a developing country to have a decent education at least they would appreciate it which is more than can be said for Mr playstation i guess. I am looking into sponsoring a childs education as i have none of my own.

HI everyone i went back to work today to find that they are putting me on light duties, anyhow i feel really down, back aches and tired and work seems to be building to a climax.

anyhow what about dear old Charles Clarke he's really making a mess of things isnt he forst he forcing surrey and sussex police to merge now he's in trouble for releasing foreign offenders held in british prisons who should of been deported ! .

surly the buck stops with him.

Today Ive spent the whole day in bed, i collapsed on the top landing this morning with severe bak pain, Christ daytime tv is bad !!!!.

anyhow i am looking at going back to work tomorrow i hope provided i can walk properly, i am drugged up to my eyeballs at moment with diazepam pain killers & anti inflammatory .

tired and fed up.

No thought for today really

apart from when is going to be possible to have a body transplant ? , god i need one. if he/she is reading this give me a break will you, please.

Today has been just one long slog, work has been hard today, having to compile disks for charging and complete statement and put computers back together, then i had to go to hospital for physio the physio was hard work and i can hardly walk now.

anyhow my thought for today ,

a patients cure is often in their willingness to believe.

one question i am going to ask god if he exists when i meet him and that is 'Why that face ?'

me and wife went to portsmouth today , she went shopping and little old me went around the dockyard to view the victory and the museum, the mary rose and the warrior, it was a very interesting and i would recomend a visit to eveyone.

Well as this is my first experience of blog's.

One of my friends recently died and today i took his belongings from his desk in a box down to his wife, god it was hard, not as hard as for her though.

On another note my mate dave is running the London marathon this year, he has been training constantly and he thinks he's gonna do it around three hours ish give or take 30 mins. I wish him the best of luck.

I am interested in books so if anybody who reads this is interested in books then post your latest reads.
I am currently reading four books, by the side of me at the moment i have the nuremberg interviews by leon goldsohn, its a revealing book and gives a good insight into the minds of the Nazi war criminals.

Ah i have been suffering from a bad back for ages, and my job does not help as an investigator for HI Tech Crime so i suffer from a fair amount of stress, when your dealing with paedophiles, murders and general nasties it can get pretty stressfull.
